| The White Rams are NM Dahl Sheep and dark colored rams are NM Onate Sheep. White rams will generally have the wide spanned horns while the Onate rams have a normal horn span. I have minimized line-breeding to avoid the negative side effects of line breeding. If you are looking for the positive effects of the hybrid hardiness and diversification of your gene pool, these sheep will suit that purpose! The white rams have only 1/4 relation to any of the most popular horned hair sheep like Texas Dall, Painted Desert, Black Hawaiian, Desert Sand, American Blackbelly, and Corsican. They are 5/8 NM Dahl and 1/8th Wiltshire Horn. The Onate rams are 3/4 NM Dahl and 1/4th Mouflon. Tornillo and Narcisus are Texas Dall Sheep.
